Pop communication between men

“Hello! Is it me you’re looking for?” Four men – and a dog – strike up a conversation in a sort of DIY setting. Yet, everything they say has a very, very familiar ring to it. In fact, their entire dialogue is entirely made up of lyrics from well-known pop songs: talking about pain “cos everybody hurts”, and wondering whether they can go on “with or without you”. The contrast between the emotional kitsch of pop music and the laid-back, pithy interplay between these fabulous actors results in a play that is sensitive, yet funny and absurd. No-one could fail to be moved… except for the dog.
