Jim Schnabel will moderate the symposium. Author of the books “Dark White” and “Round in Circles” which examined, in terms of culture and society, the histories of UFO research and the phenomena of crop circles, respectively. In “Dark White” without taking a position of either belief or scepticism, he evocatively and often humorously describes to a lay audience the arguments and positions taken by the major investigators into unexplained phenomena. It is hoped he will be able to “referee” the arguments in this difficult subject.
