After last year’s funny, raw and deranged Galapagos the Flemish company Abattoir Fermé returns to Fribourg with a project created especially for Aviòn. Straight out of David Cronenberg’s universe, the play is about the confused and unhealthy encounter between Lucifer Valentine, director of an underground film and Roy Orbison impersonator, and Babe Lestrange, a young lady travelling incognito. Fantasy, grotesque and paranoïa, Transmutation Device is a tale deeply rooted into technological incidences of desire and the human body.
