In Kein Applaus für ScheißeFlorentina Holzinger and Vincent Riebeek are flirting with the limits of everything that is possible on stage, refering to the canon of 1970s perfor- mance art. The result is a surprising portrait of contemporary pop culture’s rich tapestry: an intangible mixture of dance, trashy pop, theatre, roller skating interludes, acrobatics and performance. A choreography that constantly risks losing its balance when one of the two performers flagrantly try to hog the stage for the closing applause.
