A concert out on the range
The sound of cowbells is inextricably linked with the Swiss countryside. Artist Alain Bellet transforms a herd of grazing cows into an orchestra and the anarchic tinkling of their bells into music. Each cowbell is controlled remotely so that the piece of music which has been especially composed for the “instrument” rings out across the meadow. As they continue their leisurely grazing, these docile ruminants carry the melodies with them. A one-of-a-kind spatial and sensory experience!
